What is crowdfunding?
This is a financing method where projects or loans are financed by many investors - individual investors who have collectively provided the total amount needed to finance the project. It is a safe alternative to traditional bank financing.
How is this different from traditional bank financing?
The financing process excludes traditional creditors – money is lent directly by investors. Decisions are made faster, often on more flexible terms. Projects are evaluated transparently according to the evaluation criteria published on the platform.
Does Revestus have a license?
Yes, Revestus has a crowdfunding service provider license issued by the Bank of Lithuania, valid from 22 of October 2024.
Can individuals and legal entities use the platform?
Yes. Revestus services can be used by both natural and legal persons.
How to start using the platform?
Simply register on the platform and verify your identity. To start investing, you will need to have an account with Paysera LT, UAB. Registration on the platform is free.
What amount can I start investing with?
You can invest from just €50.
What is the return on investment?
The return depends on the risk level of the project and the amount invested. The platform operates a system according to which higher interest is paid when a larger amount is invested. Remember that investing is always associated with risk. Therefore, you may not receive the planned return.
How risky is it to invest?
Like any investment, crowdfunding also has risks - possible insolvency of the borrower, the project may not be implemented or forcibly realized at a lower price than expected. Revestus performs risk assessment and provides transparent information about projects. In all cases, the aim is to assess the level of risk and clearly inform investors about it?
Can I withdraw my invested money at any time?
No. The invested money is repaid according to the selected loan repayment and interest payment schedule, usually quarterly or at the end of the project.
Who can apply for funding?
Business entities carrying out activities can apply for financing. Financing is provided only in cases where the repayment of loans is secured by a real estate mortgage and additional other collateral.
How long does it take to process an application?
Typically, the first response is provided within 1-2 business days of submitting the required documents.
What documents do I need to submit to receive financing?
We typically ask for a business plan (project description), company financial statements, company incorporation documents, real estate valuation report. Additional information may also be requested, depending on the loan amount and project complexity.
Is it safe to use the Revestus platform?
Your data is stored in accordance with the requirements of the EU GDPR. The platform uses encryption technology and operates under limited access rules. Revestus operational processes, project and risk assessment procedures, and business continuity plans are clearly described and coordinated with the Bank of Lithuania.
Why is it necessary to verify identity?
This is required by law - the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing - identity verification ensures transparency, security and protects against money laundering. Identity is verified electronically.
What documents are suitable for identity verification?
A passport or national identity card is acceptable for identification purposes. Other documents are not acceptable for identification purposes.
